"No, it’s about Joan Archem. She hasn’t shown up to class for several days, and I was wondering if you had heard from the parents." 

"Archem? Doesn't ring a bell."

"But if she isn't here, and you don't know anything, then where is she?"

"If I don't know anything then there's no problem.  Go talk to Alexis.  She keeps all records."

"I think there's a problem here."

"Just take it up with Derek.  Or Alexis.  Okay, pal.  Good.  Talk to you soon.  The door's always open."
